Where's The Good In Goodbye?

Haaaaay guys! The much awaited Swiss Chinese Orchestra concert ended gloriously yesterday. I am so sorry for not blogging about the concert yeserday , but time was really limited and I felt that if I were to spend a mere 15 minutes on the day's events , I won't be doing justice to it. Although I am glad that the concert was a success , I can't help feeling sad that the concert was over. Exactly the way I felt 2 years ago , except that this time , it was much more stronger. Lets's have a rewind and go back to yesterday's concert alright?


Yesterday , I met up with Lina and went to Republic Polytechnic together. Passer-bys kept staring at me because I was dressed ridiculously black but that didn't matter. Met all my C.O friends and percussionists at the concert hall. Wailoon immediately said I was dashing in black =p Had our concert rehearsal and stuff from around 1 to 4 if I am not wrong and I was walking around in Replublic Poly because I only had to perform in Technology. When it's time for Technology , I realised ( with much horror ) that the vibraphone was in front of other percussionists. I was very very reluctant to stand in front because I really didn't have much time to practise my part. Of course I didn't forget what Kathleen , Xueying and Raymond drummed into me in the past.


This was that they said.

'' Sebastian , do you know most of the audience down there do not know how to play the song we are performing? Even if they knew that song , they couldn't possibly remember what was the exact note you should play , so even if they somehow do manage to memorise all the scores and know exactly what you are supposed to play , as long as you exude an air of confidence , who will possibly know what mistake you made? ''


So during the rehearsal , although my legs were shaking , I still acted as if nothing was wrong , because I know no one except for my beloved percussionists will realise the mistakes I made , and so what's there to be afraid of ?


After the rehearsal , the percussionists had lunchboxes for dinner. Joshua ate 3 chicken wings and Raymond was lecturing him about cholestrol and fat levels. Aren't we like a huge and fun family? ;D

Not long after , the concert started. I went to the audience's seats and watched the concert because I don't fancy watching the concert from the little television they have inside ^^ Saw Ruikang , Don , Jia Jin , Glenda , Eugene , Xiao Han , Shafiq , You Xiang , Jun xiong , Wayne and many many more of my schoolmates ^^ Missed them loads. I was pretty relaxed throughout the concert and paid most of my attention on percussion naturally. John was so good in the xylophone that pride swelled in me when I was watching him although I know I didn't teach him that instrument. Joshua played 徘鼓 in ( 台湾追想曲）I forgot the song's name but I really have to say that when he entered the song , his 台风 was awesome. My pride continued swelling when I saw Wailoon playing the dagu as his 台风 was nice as well except that I thought he appeared quite uneasy perhaps due to nervousness. ZhiChuen made so much inprovement that I can't help by smiling , his 音色 in 大鼓 was so wonderful that I wonder how many hours of practise was put into it. Paulina played the 徘鼓 nicely in 庆典序曲 and Jiawei's 台风 and confidence never fail to amaze me. Tricia's grace and style was so evident when she played the xylophone that I couldn't help but realise the massive change that took place since that silly girl used to throw her sticks on the floor when she couldn't play a particular piece and cried when she had difficulties in the xylophone. Lastly , if I were to say , ''Astound me'' I know that Raymond and Jieying's wonderful aura of confidence and excellent 台风 will never fail to do so. I was so proud of Percussion that I annoyed Ruikang and my other classmates so much when I kept saying ,


'' Look at that person on the right. Saw him/her? Excellent right? He is my junior/senior! ''
'' Look at Raymond! Oh my god isn't that impressive!''
'' Look at Tricia , Look at John , Thats Jieying! Look at him , Look at her''


until they started ignoring me when I said that and just nodded their heads. Well I could go on forever if you want me to. ;D

Next we performed Technology and claps and cheers were so evident from the audience that all of us smiled when we went into the backstage. ^^

After the entire concert is over , I went back to Swiss Cottage and moved the instruments with Percussion. Then , we had our dinner together and took pictures and stuff. Here they are.

After our dinner together , all of us went into separated ways and went home. Seriously , when I said goodbye to them , I almost felt like crying. So much for '' We shan't be sad that everything is over , but glad because everything happened..'' As usual , I couldn't practise what I preached and I felt really really sad. I guess goodbyes were never easy to say. I still remembered that when I was preparing my farewell gift for Percussion and I spent 2 hours searching a good quote about friendship , I came upon a phrase like this.

'' Good Friends Are Brothers and Sisters Fate Forgotten to Give You''

If that was true , I guess Fate had forgotten to give me 9 brothers and sisters , namely Raymond , Jieying , Joshua , Tricia , John , Paulina , Jiawei , ZhiChuen and Wailoon. And even though I am really sad what we have parted , I shall preach once more and say,

'' People part to meet again.''

I love all of you so much. You guys are my best buddies. Will never forget any one of you. Don't any of you dare forget me too =] We are the pulse! ;D

P.S. Jieying , the cockles are fried with the kway tiao , you eat the kway tiao also can get hepatitis A/B de. ;D

P.P.S. Today , I started to realise that I love her more than I knew.

P.P.P.S I gave someone a gift today too. She looked quite shocked though. =]

It Might Have Been..
Haaaaaaaaaaay guys! Oh my god! I haven't been blogging for soo long. T.T Nevermind , here's an update on the recent stuff I did during my March holidays. From the starting of my holidays to last Wednesday , I could summarise everything into one word. Sick. So I just did a little maths and nothing else. Seriously , I still remember telling Rachel and Ajay I would ' mug like shit ' during the March holidays. But Binomial Series is no joke and every question took at least half an hour. -.- So most of the time was spent in watching DVDs. 200 Pounds Beauty ( I know I am very laggish , so just pardon me) , The Promise and Keeping Mum. Kim Ah Joong is very beautiful and adorable! ;D She rocks ^^ But I don't think that movie was that touching afterall , my friends said it made them cry. Awwwwwww. =( The Promise was cool and everything , but the story plot was pretty dumb. Lastly I think Keeping Mum is supposed to be very humorous , but the jokes were pretty hard to catch.
Today ( Approximately an hour ago ) I came back from the AJCO camp. Well , I couldn't say it's not fun at all , but I hardly remember the names of my group mates and stuff. By the way , my group was X-Men or Man , I can't remember. So our first game was some Detective and the Murderer. The groups will have to question various suspects and look for evidence to find out who killed poor Edison ( in this case , the victim ) The murderers were Kenneth and Shufen. Kenneth made a very idiotic argument which I almost fell for when we discovered a bicycle rope in his toolbox. Here's a part of the conversation.
Sebastian : EH! Bicycle rope! Edison was strangled to death right?
Kenneth : Come on la , this rope can stretch de leh. How to kill people ? ( Stretching ropes )
Sebastian : Oh , so cannot kill. Chey.
Shufen did an excellent job in acting as the deranged sister. Well actually its personality split. She was like crying over Edison's death in front of us , then suddenly she became fierce and everything. But obviously , you don't go around suspecting people with a personality split. So we were like , why is the left side of your skirt long and the right side short? Then she said,
'' Oh , because I got personality split.''
Every single group suspected her sadly , and the given reason was '' Because she got personality split.''
Then it was night time and we were asked to sleep. Of course I didn't , Junda played Kungfu Dunk on his Ipod and we watched it in the dark. Then I played Daidee with Kenneth , Weizhe and Guy. ( Not that his name is Guy , but because I forgot his name. Sorry T.T ) Slept at around 2 .30 am and woke up at 7.10 if I don't remember wrongly. Played games like Turn over a new leaf , Charade , Teabreak , an obstacle game and some weird 2 balls 3 groups Captain's ball. Turn over a new leaf was very tiring , basically it involves the whole group , standing on a sheet of plastic torn from a garbage bag. Then you will have to flip the whole sheet of plastic with the whole group still standing on it. Don't ask me how we did it. Our leader , Venetta , did all the job. Teabreak was fun to watch. Mind the descriptions. FUN to Watch. So in that game , you have to tie your one of your hands and one of your legs with that of a partner's , do some funny stuff , and walk to a huge plastic bag , pick out some food and finish it. Sounds easy and enjoyable? Not for me. I gotten a barbeque sauce sandwich. I literally stuffed the whole thing , Ew , walked back to my group and went to the toilet to spit it out. But its fun to watch people gorge themselves to death , especially the part they had to drink green tea using a milk bottle. Charade was simple and fun , guessing of Chinese Orchestra songs through acting and Captain's ball was physically demanding cause everyone else is too enthusiastic and I am like one of the few boys in my group so I am expected to run around to catch and intercept.
Then after the games , we had full Orchestra. Boring actually. Chatted with Siow Yun and Charene throughout the practice.
After full orchestra , Shawn , Kenneth , Han Wei , Jezebel , Ming Quan and me went for dinner at Macdonalds. Shawn did weird thing as usual , eating fries with a lot of pepper and Hanwei ate 4 nuggets out of 6 and donated the rest away. Its no wonder shes getting thinner. One day , I might not be able to see her anymore. Sad. After the dinner , Ming Quan and Shawn went home and the others went for Pool. Okay , here's part of the conversation Kenneth and me had before walking into the club.
Sebastian : Kenneth , I sure own you le.
Kenneth : Really? Hahas confirm wad , I very lousy , learn like 2 weeks only.
Sebastian : *laughs*
But after the first round , I was like -.- Because , I only had the one turn before the game ended. Kenneth got every single ball in and missed the blackball once. So I get to hit once before he got the blackball in as well. 2 weeks? Try adding another 3 years and 11 months? He played pool for 4 years. Wth. So basically , its Kenneth's game through and through and Jezebel , Han Wei and me were just making a fool out of ourselves , but I learnt alot from the Pro of cause ;D After the game , we wanted to foot the bill and Kenneth realised his wallet was missing. He was the first person I saw who spoke to me calmly after discovering his loss. This was that he told me.
Kenneth : I am owned.
So he dialed the 999 ( First time in my life, I saw someone doing that. I couldn't help but asking him to wait until I can see the numbers) Then we went to Ang Mo Kio Police Post. Well Kenneth , I do hope some kind soul will return your Identification Card and stuff back to you. Don't be too worried okay? Hmm , its getting late. I have Chinese Orchestra again tomorrow. Gotta run , see you all ;D

I Can't Promise To Always Make You Smile, But I Can Always Cry With You When You're Sad. Shawn , my senior in AJCO , and she is currently 18 years old.


Haaay! It's my favourite day of the week! Saturday ;D Today, I went to Chinese Orchestra in the morning to see all my juniors as well as to practise my xylophone piece for Technology. It is always so fun to hang out with them! ^^ And I received my favourite chocolate again! Thanks Qiaohui! I tried to arrange a Percussion outing that night since they had to perform in Keming Primary School in the evening and I succeeded! Yay! ;D

After Chinese Orchestra practise , Qiaohui , Cassandra , Raymond , Wailoon , Joshua , Genesis , WenQiang , JieRen and me went to Long John Silver's for lunch. Wailoon kept stealing my cheese then. Tricia and Paulina went home to change first and were supposed to meet us in WestMall for bowling after lunch. After we finished , Joshua went to get his shoes and stuff and Qiaohui brought Wailoon and me to her Piano classes because I was interested in signing up. After that , I received loads of calls from Tricia to hurry us so Wailoon and me had to run all the way to the CSC.

We wanted to bowl at first , but the waiting list was horribly long. So we tried going for pool but was stopped because Tricia and the others were wearing the Chinese Orchestra T- Shirt , I tried bluffing to the vendor by saying we merely belong to a Chinese Orchestra Club but unfortunately , Paulina was so excited in seeing green straws that she kept walking and turning around , fully displaying the words '' Swiss Cottage Chinese Orchestra '' on her back. So the vendor called my bluff and we were out of that place.

Next , Joshua , ZhiChuen , Wailoon and me went for LAN gaming while Paulina and Tricia went back to Westmall to shop. Had a boring hour there getting owned in both CounterStrike and Dota. -.- After the long hour, Wailoon realised he lost his wallet and we spend 15 minutes frantically searching around for his wallet to no avail =/

My juniors were then late for the trip to Keming and we had to run like 500 metres to the bus interchange. Of all times and places, I met her there. Now , you dont have to know who she is. And at that time , I was sweating like mad , with my hair totally messed up , and my jacket crumbled and hanging down from my arms. Not to mention the sting on my left cheek. Oh my god. Isn;t that so unlucky?


So my dear juniors then went to Keming and I went home for a bath.

When they finished their performance in Keming , I met Raymond , John , Jiawei , Debbie ( I put your names together!) , Tricia , Paulina , Joshua and Wailoon at WestMall. They had their dinner at subway and we went for the arcades. By the way, I found out that Jiawei is currently dating Debbie! Okay , that was random. Anyway, John , Jiawei and Debbie didn't join us in the arcades. We went there and played the table hockey ( what Tricia called it) although I saw the words (3 Pucks) on the machine's scoreboard. We played like crazy and kept yelling ;D Great time. Then Raymond and I played a round of Pool. I know what you guys wanna know and I am proud to say , I owned him. Here is a shot ;D


After having so much fun , I went home and drank vodka! ;D Cool huh ^^




Okay , now I am getting a bit tired from the drink. Gotta sleep. ;D Goodnight! =p
